No Slum To Be Removed Without Providing Permanent Housing: Delhi CM Tells Official

Amid the ongoing drive against the illegal construction in Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday said that no slum will be removed in the capital without providing permanent housing. 

The Delhi CM also said that street vendors with valid PM SVANidhi documents will not be evicted. The high-level meeting comes at a time when the Delhi government has launched an eviction drive against illegal constructions.

Meanwhile, Gupta also warned those spreading ruours saying that strict action, including FIRs, will be taken against those spreading rumours.
