A man was discovered fatally wounded Wednesday night in an alley in the Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Officers responded to a call of a person shot shortly before 11:30 p.m. in the 7200 block of South Sangamon Street, and found an unresponsive man lying in an alley, police said.
The man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
