A four-bedroom, 3,726-square-foot house in Lake Bluff that former Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace owned until selling it in an off-market deal in April for $1.39 million sold again on Dec. 8 for $1.53 million.

Built in 2015, the house on Center Avenue sold for 9.4% more than the amount that Pace had sold it for just seven months earlier. Pace paid $1.29 million for the house in 2015. After the Bears fired him in January, Pace became a senior personnel executive for the Atlanta Falcons.

The 2.5-story, traditional-style house has 3-1/2 bathrooms, high ceilings, hardwood floors on the first floor, an open floor plan, a breakfast room with a built-in banquette, a living room with bookshelves and a kitchen with a Wolf range and oven, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a Bosch dishwasher, quartz countertops and a marble backsplash. Other features include a dining room with Circa lighting, a basement with high ceilings and a rec room with a bar, and a primary bedroom suite with frayed ceilings, Carrara and Calacatta marble and a walk-in closet.

Outside on the property are electronic security gates, a bluestone patio, a built-in Wolf grill, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a natural gas fire pit, built-in seating, exterior lighting and a turf lawn that requires no maintenance.

The seller of the house first listed it in September for $1.59 million.

The house had a $24,321 property tax bill in the 2021 tax year.

Marina Carney of Compass, who represented both the seller and the buyers, declined to comment to Elite Street on the transaction.
