The Chicago Tribune’s 2023 Food Awards launched Wednesday, with our Readers’ Choice segment of the annual celebration of Chicagoland’s dining scene starting with a nomination period through March 15.
Restaurants, bars and other food businesses hoping to compete can use our kit of social media graphics and a printable flier to encourage customers and fans to nominate them in 12 Readers’ Choice categories, from Best Sandwich to Best Chicago-Style Barbecue and Best New Restaurant.
In the end, our finalists — five in each category except for Best New Restaurant, which has 10 finalists — will each have an equal shot at the final prize — but it’ll be up to you to decide the winners. Readers can vote online daily from March 17-31 and help their favorites best the competition.
We’ll announce the winners online and in print April 26.
Fill out the form below to receive the free downloadable media kit via email. Questions? Email food editor Ariel Cheung at archeung@chicagotribune.com.
