New Delhi: Abhishek Bachchan is back on the silver screen with his latest flick, “Ghoomer”. The excitement surrounding his comeback is palpable, and in a recent interview, he spilled the beans on what truly matters to him – the opinions of his audience.
In the movie “Ghoomer,” Abhishek Bachchan, a figure well-acquainted with the trials of adversity and the virtues of unwavering perseverance, had this profound insight to share, “I’m a film actor who works very hard to make films and entertain the audience but then expects my audience to purchase a ticket with their hard-earned money and watch my film. I owe them the value of that ticket. If I don’t manage to do that, they’re going to be upset and today they have a platform to communicate that too.”
He added further, “It’s my job and my duty to listen to them, each and every one of them. Even if out of 100, 2 people are saying something negative, I’m not the kind of person who will say it pales in comparison to the love I’m getting, which it does, and I appreciate the love. But it’s my duty to also listen to those who will say, Hey, why don’t you two let me understand what you’re saying? If I understand it, if I accept it, I’ll work on it so that next time around even you to say something good. That’s the way I’ve looked at it always. So that’s the way I look at criticism.”
