New Delhi: Bollywood’s veteran actor Zeenat Aman has now turned into a social media sensation. The actor never misses an opportunity to entertain her Instagram followers with her stunning photos. Recently, Zeenat took to her Instagram account to share a picture of her at a wedding with her son on October 17. With the picture, she also revealed that she eloped and got married.
The veteran actor was dressed in a stunning blue Sharara. On the other hand, her son looked dapper in a green printed kurta and white pajamas. The actor shared a post with an interesting story from her wedding.
She wrote, “My own wedding to the father of my children was a discreet affair. We eloped and got married in Singapore in a low-key ceremony with just two witnesses. But reserved as I am, I can’t deny the charm and madness of the “big Indian wedding”! The food, the music, the colours, the atmosphere of revelry—it’s infectious.”
Also, Zeenat’s ability to speak with wisdom and elegance on various issues is something that no one can deny. Recently, she talked about wearing borrowed clothes at various events.
Talking about it, Zeenat said, “Most of my designer clothes are hand-me-downs. I’m sharing this with you because I don’t want young people feeling the pressure of buying new clothes.”
“You should enjoy what you wear and not worry about how much it costs,” she added.
Zeenat Aman began her career in the film industry in 1970. She made her debut in the year 1970 with the film ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’, for which she won the Best Actress award in Filmfare (BFIA). After a decade of being a well-known and successful actor, she began to appear less often after her marriage to Mazhar Khan in 1985. The two had tied the knot in 1985, and they remained a couple until 1998. With him, she has two sons: Azaan and Zahaan Khan.
