A 41-year-old man was seriously injured when a woman he was fighting pulled out a gun and shot him Saturday morning on the Southwest Side, Chicago police said.

Shortly before 1:45 a.m., the man was involved in a fight with two women in a parking lot in the 4700 block of West 47th Street when one of the women, a conceal carry license holder, pulled out a gun and opened fire, police said.

The man was struck in the armpit, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. The CCL holder drove herself to the police station where she was being questioned by police.
