Corrections and clarifications

• A story on Saturday’s Page 1 about the rise of electric heating in the Chicago area incorrectly stated the temperature when Vel Natarajan ran his electric heating system without backup heating. Natarajan ran his system without backup heating on a night when the temperature dropped to minus 15 degrees. The Tribune regrets the error.
