Chicago police responded to a currency exchange overnight on the South Side where an ATM machine was taken.
Shortly after 3:15 a.m., police found the front glass door shattered and an ATM missing from a currency exchange in the 2500 block of South Halsted Street.
A preliminary investigation indicated the burglars may have fled the scene in a silver sedan, police said.
Detectives are investigating.
