The Congress party held its meeting of the Central Working Committee on Tuesday to discuss and give a final shape to its manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The meeting, which is underway at party headquarters in Delhi, is being attended by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, MP Rahul Gandhi, party leader Priyanka Gandhi among other senior leaders.
The draft manifesto carries the five ‘guarantees’ for justice which include: ‘Bhagidari Nyay’, ‘Kisan Nyay’, ‘Nari Nyay’, ‘Shramik Nyay’ and ‘Yuva Nyay’, listing five guarantees for each ‘nyay’.

Ahead of the meeting, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said “these are the guarantees by the Congress party and not by a single person” in an obviuos jibe at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has been claiming to provide “Modi ki guarantee”.
