Chicago Bears President and CEO Kevin Warren and his wife, Greta, last summer paid $1.75 million for a three-bedroom, 2,547-square-foot condominium in Streeterville.

Warren, 60, became the Bears’ president and CEO in January 2023 after serving for more than three years as the commissioner of the Rosemont-based Big Ten conference. During his time overseeing the Big Ten, Warren rented a condo in Streeterville.

As the Bears have mulled whether to pursue a new stadium in northwest suburban Arlington Heights or somewhere close to downtown Chicago, Warren recently has emerged as one of downtown Chicago’s biggest boosters.

“We live downtown. We love Chicago. This is the greatest city on the planet,” Warren said in January at a news conference at which he and his wife announced a $1 million gift to Lurie Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, according to an article on the Chicago Bears’ website.

The condo that the Warrens bought had been listed off-market for $1.699 million. It has three bathrooms, views of Lake Michigan and Navy Pier, an open-concept living and dining area and a kitchen with custom marble countertops, a full-height backsplash, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a Wolf range with double ovens and a Bosch dishwasher.

Other features include en-suite bathrooms for all bedrooms, crown moldings, a wet bar with a wine refrigerator, custom wide plank hardwood floors, motorized shades, a south-facing balcony and a primary bedroom suite with two oversized walk-in closets and a bathroom with a dual sink vanity.

Listing agent Shannon Kelly told Elite Street that the condo sold furnished, although the furnishings were not included in the $1.75 million sale price.

“My client was the seller, and the unit was highly upgraded with finishes, and the home was incredible. It’s at eye level with the (Navy Pier) Ferris wheel,” Kelly said.

The condo had a $24,353 property tax bill in the 2022 tax year. It also has a $1,614-a-month assessment.

The Warrens bought the unit through an opaque land trust, although other public records confirm their ownership.

Through the Bears, the Warrens did not respond to a request for comment. Real estate agents Dawn McKenna and Annie Royster Lenzke represented the Warrens. Both declined to comment.
