LPL 2024: The Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2024 has completed its first 10 matches, and Galle Marvels are punching above their weight as a surprise package ion the tournament with terrific performances. In the sexond match of the night, Dambulla Thunders avoided a disaster and salvaged their campaign by registering their maiden win of the tournament, as Colombo Strikers looked clueless while defending their total.

Kusal Perera continues his terrific run of form, as Dambulla Thunders finally do justice to the contribution of the Sri Lankan batter, and with the win, they are now fourth in the table.
“Hopefully, it is getting better. It’s under treatment and we have to wait for tomorrow. The team needed me badly, so I stepped in and batted. I was a bit disappointed, but I’m grateful to the team owners for giving me the opportunity, and I’m happy to perform well,” said Kusal Perera, who was awarded the Man of the Match award for his exceptional knock of 80 against Colombo Strikers.
Jaffna Kings, the initial edition and three-time winners of the league, have now registered their third consecutive win and look like a determined side, as they seek to reclaim their throne.
