In a recent order, the Karnataka High Court suggested an estranged couple resolve their differences by seeking blessings and guidance from spiritual guru Shri Abhinava Gavisiddeshwara Swamiji of Shri Gavisiddeshwara Mutt. The court was dealing with a couple seeking divorce. The high court order noted that the couple accepting the suggestion to work on their marriage and seek advice from the spiritual guru is “a happy development happening in the Court Hall.”
A bench of Justice Krishna S Dixit and Justice Vijay Kumar Patil passed an order stating that the couple have “happily agreed with the suggestion of this Court that they should seek some blessings & guidance from a tall person. Together, they have rightly chosen His Holiness Shri Abhinava Gavisiddeshwara Swamiji of Shri Gavisiddeshwara Mutt, Koppal.”
The bench further observed that both parties are well-educated, and their interaction with the court confirmed they come from respectable cultural backgrounds. The court stated that the couple also acknowledged ups and downs are inevitable in any marriage.
The court was hearing a plea filed by the husband against a trial court order that dismissed his divorce petition and allowed his wife’s plea for the restitution of conjugal rights under the Hindu Marriage Act.
The Court observed that it was a positive development in the courtroom when the couple agreed to meet the spiritual guru to seek his advice and blessings.
“In the above circumstances, we pray to his Holiness Shri Abhinava Gavisiddeshwara Swamiji to bless Holiness on 22.09.2024, after ascertaining his availability & convenience.”
The court ordered the Registry to send a copy of this order to Shri Abhinava Gavisiddeshwara Swamiji as well as both the parties.
In the above circumstances, we pray His Holiness Shri Abhinava Gavisiddeshwara Swamiji to bless Holiness on 22.09.2024, after ascertaining his availability & convenience to send a copy of this order to His Holiness Shri Abhinava Gavisiddeshwara Swamiji of Shri both the parties.
