Gujarat News: An accident occurred at the bullet train project in Gujarat, near the Vasad River, on Tuesday where workers were trapped under debris. Two workers have died as a result of the incident, according to news agency IANS. In the accident, concrete blocks collapsed at a construction site of the bullet train project in Anand today prompting officials from the Anand police and fire brigade to rush to the scene to assist with rescue efforts, ANI news agency reported.

The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited confirmed, “Today evening at Mahi River, at the construction site of the bullet train project, three labourers were trapped between concrete blocks. The rescue operation is in progress using cranes and excavators. One labourer has been rescued and is recovering in the hospital.”
