Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde submitted his resignation to Governor CP Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai after the current assembly term ended on Tuesday. Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar earlier said that Shinde will be asked to continue as the caretaker CM of Maharashtra till the new CM takes oath.
