Viral Video Sparks Outrage

The video has ignited widespread outrage on social media, leading the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Traffic to initiate a comprehensive investigation.

Additional DCP Vikram Raghuvanshi informed NDTV that the Governor is provided with Z+ security, prohibiting anyone from approaching the convoy due to potential accident risks. The ACP Traffic Police has been assigned to review CCTV footage to identify the victim and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“It was the convoy of His Excellency the Governor, who has Z+ security. The motorcade moves at high speed, and despite being warned by the police, the individual still approached the convoy. You are unidentified-why are you going near the convoy? An investigation has been ordered into this matter. The DCP has directed an ACP-level officer to conduct the inquiry. They have retrieved video footage and started recording statements. Investigations take time, but the facts will eventually come to light.” Raghuvanshi said.

In response, the social media users reacted to the video by saying, “it’s not new, every day picture of poor people here.”

The next user asked, “When do we stop wasting taxpayers money by stoping government convey culture?”
