A 28-year-old man was discovered shot in the facial area inside of a vehicle Saturday morning on the Far South Side in the Roseland neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Around 8 a.m., the victim was found inside of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the face in the 10500 block of Cottage Grove Avenue, police said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
A handgun was recovered from inside of the vehicle.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
