1 fatally shot, 1 injured in shooting in Rogers Park neighborhood, police say

One man was killed and another was injured after a shooting Sunday night in Rogers Park, according to Chicago Police.

Officers responded to a shooting at the 7500 block of North Damen Avenue around 9:46 p.m. and found two male victims outside with multiple gunshot wounds. The first victim, an unidentified male, sustained a gunshot wound to the neck and head. He was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The second victim, a 31-year-old male, sustained a gunshot wound to the chest as well as a gunshot wound to each leg. He was also transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

According to police, a witness told officers that they observed four males flee the scene on foot. No one is in custody.
