A Grayslake man was stabbed to death over the weekend in Waukegan, Lake County authorities said Tuesday.
The coroner’s office identified him as Adam Hoth, 42.
Waukegan police found Hoth in the street near West Harrison Avenue and North Adelphi Street after being alerted to a stabbing at around 9:55 p.m. Sunday. Hoth, police said, was unresponsive when they arrived.
Officers performed first aid and CPR until paramedics arrived and transported Hoth to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room.
Hoth died from multiple stab wounds, the coroner’s office said.
The incident remains under investigation by the Waukegan police. Further details were not immediately available.
