Patanjali has stated that its wellness programs are revolutionising healthcare through natural therapies. These initiatives not only treat diseases but also promote a healthier lifestyle.

According to Patanjali Ayurved, its wellness programs have helped millions of people find relief from chronic illnesses through the power of natural medicine. The institution integrates Ayurveda, Yoga, Panchakarma, and naturopathy to address health concerns. The company emphasised, “Our aim is to address the root cause of ailments, not just suppress symptoms.”

A Holistic Approach to Natural Healing

Patanjali claims, “At our wellness centres, expert Ayurvedic doctors first assess the patient’s condition. They understand the imbalances in vata, pitta, and kapha and create personalised treatment plans. For instance, diabetes patients are prescribed a diet rich in natural ingredients like bitter gourd, jamun, and fenugreek. Alongside, they are guided through yoga practices such as Mandukasana, Dhanurasana, and pranayama, which help in regulating blood sugar levels.”

Specialised Treatments and Therapies

Patanjali explained, “Panchakarma is one of the core therapies offered, which includes treatments like vaman (therapeutic vomiting), virechan (purgation), basti (medicated enema), shirodhara (oil pouring on the forehead), and nasya (nasal therapy). These procedures help eliminate toxins from the body and enhance digestion, metabolism, and mental peace. Additionally, therapies like hydrotherapy, mud therapy, and acupressure are effective in relieving joint pain, stress, and digestive disorders.”

Tangible Results and Growing Trust

According to Patanjali, “Our wellness centres have provided relief to people suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid, arthritis, and sinus issues. For example, sinus patients are advised to take ‘Divya Swasari Kwath’ and practice neti kriya, which strengthens the respiratory system. These treatments are popular in both rural and urban areas due to their affordability and natural approach.”

Global Presence and Expansion

Patanjali currently operates 34 wellness centres across Indian cities like Haridwar, Noida, Pune, and Hyderabad. In addition, its wellness programs are active in countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. The goal, Patanjali says, is to promote India’s ancient medical wisdom on a global platform.
