Woman says she was sexually assaulted in Lake View, police say

A woman said she was sexually assaulted by two men in Lake View Sunday night, according to police.

At about 10:45 p.m., police officers responded to a well-being call from a woman on the 3800 block of North Wilton Avenue. She told police she was sitting in an alley when two men and two women approached her. She said the men then physically and sexually assaulted her before the group left in a vehicle, police said.

The victim was transported to Thorek Memorial Hospital, police said.

There is no one in custody, and detectives are investigating.
