A Gary man is accused of fatally shooting 38-year-old David Foster on Friday afternoon.
Tyrisce Calhoun Jr. was charged Saturday with murder, according to court records. Calhoun allegedly shot Foster in the 1700 block of Pierce Street.
Foster sustained a gunshot wound in an apparent homicide, according to a Lake County Coroner’s Office release. He was pronounced dead at 12:56 p.m. at the Methodist Hospitals Northlake operating room.
There is a warrant out for Calhoun’s arrest, records state.
