The Cook County sheriff’s police are investigating the shooting death of a 27-year-old man Wednesday in Ford Heights.
The man, who police had not named as of Friday afternoon, was found lying on the ground Wednesday morning on the 1400 Block of East 15th Place, police said.
He was pronounced dead at 9:46 a.m. at the scene. The Cook County medical examiner’s office reported he died of multiple gunshot wounds, and classified the death as a homicide.
