New Delhi: The weekly reality checks on ‘Shanivaar Ka Vaar’ got serious on ‘Bigg Boss 16’. This weekend’s ‘vaar’ brought drama that spurred from the debate on Archana Gautam’s impromptu eviction on the grounds of violence. As the discussions came to an end, Dabangg host Salman Khan tricked the housemates and viewers into believing that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary shall exit the house. However, a great shock coursed through the coveted house, as Salman declared “Haryana ki Shakira” Gori Nagori’s eviction owing to inadequate votes from the audience. She was nominated for eviction along with Sumbul Touqeer and Soundarya Sharma.

Throughout her journey on the show, Gori entertained the audience with her flawless dance performances. All the celebrity guests who graced the show praised her skills and stage presence. She had a strong friendships with Shiv Thakare, Sajid Khan, MC Stan, and Abdu, but her bond with the boys weakened after she found a friend in Soundarya Sharma and Gautam Singh Vig. She had her share of fights with her roommate Sajid Khan, who called her a thief for giving a few grocery items to Soundarya and observed a change in her attitude. She and Shiv had an ugly spat when the latter pointed out that she was not contributing to the chores in the kitchen.

Talking about her eviction, Gori Nagori said, “I never thought that I’d be part of India’s one of the most favourite reality show. I’m grateful to have had the chance to be on Bigg Boss 16. It’s a great milestone for me and I’m proud to have represented my region in the 42 days that I spent there. I have great respect for the makers of the show, who work very hard to entertain the janta. I want to thank Bigg Boss for giving me recognition and teaching me a few important lessons of life. All the best to the contestants of the show.”

‘Bigg Boss 16’ airs every Monday to Friday at 10.00 PM and every Saturday – Sunday at 9.30 PM only on Colors.
