The leaked footage showcase the Pixel 9 in a stunning new colour variant, purportedly named “Peony” after the vibrant flower.

This year’s iteration of Made by Google event is scheduled for August 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM PT or 10:30 PM IST. The event, to be hosted at Googleplex in Mountain View, California, will be available for streaming on the Google Store page and Google’s YouTube channel.
While the tech giant hasn’t specifically mentioned any devices in it, but the invite read: “You’re invited to an in-person Made by Google event where we’ll showcase the best of Google AI, Android software and the Pixel portfolio of devices”.
This year’s Google event is scheduled earlier than last year’s, perhaps to get ahead of Apple’s annual September event. Google might be aiming to capture attention with its new Pixel devices and Gemini AI features before Apple introduces its latest iPhones and the stable iOS 18 with Apple Intelligence.
