The girl was driven to Comer Children’s Hospital where she was found shot in the buttocks and is in fair condition. No suspects are in custody, and police are investigating.

In a separate incident at around 4:50 a.m., a 17-year-old boy was shot in the lower back in Gage Park and is in stable condition. Police say they are investigating the shooting.
