Prime Minister Narendra Modi late on Sunday embarked on a roadshow in Ahmedabad ahead of the swearing in of Bhupendra Patel as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

People thronged the streets of Ahmedabad to greet PM Modi as he waved at them during the roadshow in Ahmedabad. The last time he held a roadshow was before the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections on December 1.
The oath-taking ceremony of BJP’s Bhupendra Patel, as chief minister of Gujarat, is to take place on Monday, December 12. Patel won the Ghatlodia constituency by a margin of over 1 lakh votes
At least 20 chief ministers from BJP-ruled states are expected to attend Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s inauguration event in the state capital on Monday, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Governor Acharya Devvrat will administer Patel’s oath as Gujarat’s 18th chief minister at a ceremony at the Helipad Ground in Gandhinagar’s new secretariat building.
