WATCH: PM Modi Offers Prayers At Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, where he performed darshan and pooja. He also held a roadshow in the holy city which is also his Lok Sabha constituency.

Upon his arrival at Varanasi, PM Modi received a warm welcome from the residents of his Lok Sabha constituency.

According to news agency ANI, members of the Muslim community gathered outside the Kashi Vishwanath temple to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi visited Kaziranga National Park in Assam, a UNESCO World Heritage site. He interacted with the Van Durga team, a group of women forest guards, and appreciated their dedication to conservation efforts. PM Modi also shared moments of feeding sugar cane to elephants at the park.

PM Modi To Unveil Mega Development Projects Worth Over Rs 42,000 In Uttar Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant visit to Uttar Pradesh, where he will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth more than Rs 42,000 crore, according to a statement by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

At around 12 noon on March 10th, PM Modi will participate in a public programme in Uttar Pradesh, where he will unveil various projects aimed at boosting the state’s infrastructure and socio-economic development. Later in the day, at approximately 2:15 PM, he will virtually disburse the first instalment under the Mahatari Vandana Yojana in Chhattisgarh.

PM Modi’s visit to Uttar Pradesh includes the inauguration and foundation stone laying for 15 airport projects across the country, valued at more than Rs 9800 crore. These projects will significantly enhance civil aviation infrastructure and passenger amenities, with state-of-the-art features and sustainability measures, the statement mentioned.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Light House Project (LHP) in Lucknow and Ranchi, providing over 2000 affordable flats with modern infrastructure. The innovative construction technologies employed in these projects aim to offer sustainable living experiences.

The visit also entails the dedication and foundation stone laying for several road projects, including the Lucknow Ring Road and the six-laning of key highway sections. These projects are expected to improve connectivity and socio-economic development in the region.

PM Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for multiple rail projects worth around Rs 8200 crores, aimed at bolstering rail infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. These projects include doubling, electrification, and gauge conversion of key rail sections, as well as the inauguration of new rail lines and services, as per the release.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister will inaugurate sewage treatment plants and other projects in Prayagraj, Jaunpur, and Etawah, underscoring the government’s commitment to environmental sustainability and infrastructure development.
