Nashville, TN – Zachery Talley, a finance entrepreneur and attorney whose career has spanned international borders and included a prominent role as a tax reform advocate – even taking on the IRS in a $175 million lawsuit in 2017 – is answering a new calling. Following a period of reflection, Talley is returning to the United States to spearhead a faith-based initiative aimed at transforming financial literacy and equity, particularly within underserved communities.
Talley’s commitment is underscored by his acquisition of Harman Hammon and Coates (HHC), a wealth management group he intends to rebrand. The new name and the vision behind it are expected to be unveiled during the Juneteenth weekend. Simultaneously, Talley has announced his move back to the U.S., with initial launch efforts concentrated in Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC (home to Dr. Dexter Howard’s Restoration Place Church, a key partner), and Nashville, TN.

This new chapter for Talley is deeply rooted in his faith and a desire to empower individuals through sound financial principles. A key element of his vision is the launch of a youth financial literacy ministry, set to begin its work in July at Restoration Place Church. The name of this impactful program will also be shared during the Juneteenth weekend announcement.
Talley’s background as an economist and his history of advocating for tax reform are seen by many as integral to this new direction. He believes in equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to achieve financial freedom, guided by faith-based values. His return stateside and his focus on these key Southern cities signal a profound commitment to building a movement that integrates faith and finance for the betterment of communities.
