The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, formerly with Bharat Rashtra Samiti, joined INC in the presence of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy on Saturday. Earlier, Gadwal Vijayalakshmi’s father Congress leader Keshava Rao confirmed that he along with his daughter quit the BRS ahead of Lok Sabha Sabha elections 2024.
According to ANI, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi joined Congress in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and AICC in-charge Deepadas Munshi. She is the daughter of BRS MP K Kesava Rao, who has stated that he “will join Congress”
