Alabama vs. UConn prediction

The defending champion Huskies have won and covered 10 consecutive NCAA Tournament games dating to last season’s title game.

During this stretch, Dan Hurley’s squad has won every game by at least 13 points. In this tournament, the Huskies have won each game by an average of nearly 28 points.

Alabama is headed to the first Final Four in program history following last season’s disappointing exit as a top seed in the Sweet 16.

The Crimson Tide held off a pair of ACC squads in their last two victories, knocking out North Carolina and Clemson, while scoring 89 points in each win.

Alabama relies on the 3-point shot to be successful; the Tide made 16 of their 36 attempts from long range in the win over Clemson.

Nate Oats’ team ranks 21st in the country in 3-point percentage at 37.1%, which is Alabama’s highest clip from long distance in his five seasons as head coach.

Alabama vs. UConn pick

It’s hard to fade UConn at this point, even laying double-digit points against an explosive Alabama offense.

Pick: UConn -11.5 (-110 at BetMGM)
