New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is a very regular on social media, is getting trolled for his old tweet about women’s lingerie that is doing the rounds on social media. Recently, a Reddit user shared a screenshot of Big B’s tweet, which the actor had posted on June 12, 2010, where he wrote, “T26 -In the English language, why is ‘bra’ singular and ‘panties’ plural”.
As soon as the photo of the old tweet went viral on the internet, netizens started sharing their thoughts on the same.
They wrote, “Nation wants to know”, “Good question Bachchan saab try this in next season of ‘KBC’”, “Sir Ask this in ‘KBC’ for 5cr”, “galat hain Amitabh ji”, “Jaya ji apse nahi puchte kya Amit ji ye sab”.
While, some older comments on the tweet read as,“Such tweet doesn’t suit a person of your calibre, you should apologise”, “This man is ambassador for many govt programs. What a shame (sic)”, “With due respect, even your grandchildren will not find this amusing. Please stop embarrassing yourself, “Not everything that crosses your conscious space needs to be expressed”.
Big B is set to host the 15th season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC). The preparations of the game show have begun. He recently updated his fans about the same on his blog.
“KBC preps., have begun and the need to keep at it till the fluency develops and the errors and mistakes do not occur on set.. we are human after all and mistakes do happen but the effort is ever made to avoid them,” he wrote.
“The changes that do be heard on the promotional decree now displayed on various platforms, is evident in the game play and by the morrow the ones that do go to KBC shall be in a position to learn of them..and if there be no opportunity to see the broadcast there is the PlayAlong on Sony Liv, which promises I think some better opportunities this season.. more of which shall be determined when the KBC season 15 for Sony begins the begin..”
