Today, the party will celebrate its 44th ‘Sthapna Diwas‘ (Foundation Day) to mark its establishment, which was done by Shayama Prasad Mookerjee on April 6, 1980. The theme for this year’s BJP Foundation Day is “Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar.”

While extending the wishes through his social media platform, PM Modi highlighted the sacrifices, struggles, and hardwork of the women and men in building the party over the years. He stated that he can confidently say that BJP is India’s preferred party, which has always served with the motto of ‘Nation First.’

He also claimed that the youth of India sees BJP as the one which can “fulfill their aspirations and provide leadership to India in the 21st century.”

On the occassion of BJP Foundation Day, the party leaders often come together and reflect on the saffron party’s principles, contributions, and ideology. Touching down on these aspects on the party’s special day, PM Modi stated: “It is a matter of great joy that BJP has made a mark for its development oriented outlook, good governance and commitment to nationalistic values. Powered by our Karyakartas, our Party embodies the aspirations and dreams of 140 crore Indians.”

Taking a jibe at the grand old Congress party, PM Modi stated that BJP has “freed India from the culture of corruption, cronyism, casteism, communalism and vote bank politics, which was the hallmark of those who ruled the nation for the longest time.”
