A BSc student died by suicide at his college after allegedly jumping from the third floor of the building in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He posted his final message on social media before taking the drastic step, police said.

According to Anand Yadav, Additional DCP Zone 4, the victim was a third-year BSc student named Mayur Rajput. The incident took place on Saturday, March 8 within the Dwarkapuri police station limits.

“Right now, we are investigating the reason. He has done something like this in his mental state,” Yadav said, adding that the victim’s age is believed to be between 19-20 years.
