Caneron Green Reflects On His Community Impact Award
Cameron Green, a cricketer who is suffering from stage two kidney disease, took the initiative by dedicating more than 100 hours to Chronic Kidney Disease cause, thereby, becoming a brand ambassador for Kidney Health Australia, where he helps out by spreading the word and awareness in concern with the disease.
“Tears were in my eyes just watching my mum talk about it,” Green says after a video package featuring his parents. “I had a great experience growing up but I know my parents would have found it very tough. Why i wanted to get involved was to give back to people that have helped me and give me the most normal people I could have had,” said Cameron Green.
