CSK Star Mahendra Singh Dhoni Speaks On Women’s Health On Namita Thapar’s Podcast | WATCH

Chennai Super Kings star Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the latest guest on the podcast of Emcure Pharma’s Whole-Time Director Namita Thapar, as the duo join hands to raise concerns and awareness on the sensitive issue of Women’s Health.

The podcast talked about several aspects, as Namita Thapar caught the Indian legend off the guard by asking ‘the hemoglobin levels of himself and his wife Sakshi’.

The motive behind the podcast was to shed some light on social attitudes and empowering women to take charge of their health, as it is the part of Emcure’s Arth campaign.

“Mocking remarks like ‘ye normal hai’ need to be replaced with empathy and action. Women must be heard and supported, not dismissed,” said Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

“A condescending attitude, with remarks like ‘maybe she’s going through PMS (premenstrual syndrome) or hormonal mood swings,’ often discourages women from speaking up. Addressing these health-related challenges by creating a supportive and empathetic environment is essential, ensuring that health is never a barrier to women’s personal and professional growth,” said Namita Thapar.

“Health is wealth. Sacrifice some comfort, give some time to yourself and invest it in your health; it will pay good dividends,” added Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

MS Dhoni In IPL 2025 | Will ‘Thala’ Bat Higher This Time?

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was retained via the ‘uncapped player’ quota by Chennai Super Kings for the Indian Premier League 2025. However, as seen in the last two season, ‘Captain Cool’ has opted to appear in the death overs and slog some huge hits out of the park.

Gone are those days when ‘Thala’ came up the order to anchor the innings, as Mahendra Singh Dhoni takes a backseat and pushes the youth to go ahead and excel.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni can, though, surprise the fans this time around by batting up the order, with the CSK side being on the ‘rare’ side of enduring lack of experienced batters in the middle order for the upcoming season.
