Delhi vs Mumbai Season 2 Review:

Director Neel Jadhav returns with Season 2 of Delhi vs Mumbai, bringing back the charm, emotions, and cultural nuances that made the first season a hit. The earlier installment drew in millions of viewers with its relatable storytelling and easygoing performances, and this time, expectations run even higher.

At its heart, the story still revolves around Chirag (Abhishek Kapoor) from Delhi and Ruhani (Malhaar Rathod) from Mumbai—two individuals shaped by distinct cultural worlds, trying to bridge the gap of distance and differences.

Plot: Love, Long-Distance, and Life’s Little Turns

The season kicks off with extended phone calls between Chirag and Ruhani, capturing their future plans and dreams. By the second episode, Chirag takes a big step toward independence with his decision to buy a house in Gurugram, while Ruhani faces a phase of isolation brought on by illness.

Just when things seem quiet, the arrival of neighbor Sawan with unexpected kindness adds warmth and surprise, creating an emotional layer that keeps audiences guessing about what lies ahead.

Performances & Writing: Natural and Relatable

Abhishek Kapoor and Malhaar Rathod carry the narrative effortlessly, their chemistry subtle yet effective. Parikshit Joshi adds meaningful support, making the trio’s interactions feel grounded in reality.

The writing by Shweta Singh keeps things authentic, with dialogues that mirror everyday conversations. The story moves briskly without losing its emotional depth, blending personal ambitions with the struggles of modern city life in Delhi and Mumbai.

Direction & Execution: Simple Yet Engaging

Neel Jadhav’s direction ensures the show retains its slice-of-life charm while tackling themes of love, distance, and belonging. Each episode feels concise yet complete, leaving viewers eager for the next drop. The short format works well here—keeping it binge-worthy without overwhelming audiences.

Verdict: A Heartfelt Watch

So far, Delhi vs Mumbai Season 2 manages to stay real, engaging, and emotionally resonant. It builds anticipation with each episode, balancing urban realities with heartfelt connections. The first episode releases on September 5, with subsequent ones dropping through September 15 on Alright’s YouTube channel.

If you enjoyed Season 1, this follow-up promises a binge-worthy experience full of warmth and surprises.
