“Yeah a good day on the field. We wanted to get the win and proud of the team the way they played. You always want to play well. Yeah, felt nice how I got a few of the middle of the bat so feeling nice going into the World Cup. You can see the emotions. Good to see him (Jofra Archer) back and taking wickets for England again,” said Jos Buttler in the psot match presentation ceremony.

“A little bit of both, you want to get games out of him but at the same time you want to give him some rest as well. Our spinners bowled well and those two overs from Chris Jordan at the death were excellent,” he added.

Captain Babar Azam Calls Pakistan Team “Settled” Ahead Of T20 World Cup 2024

“Our bowlers bowled very well. But I think we were not good in batting. We needed some partnerships and we failed there. Fakhar batted well. Our top four is flexible and we decide it before every match or series. Our players are in a good touch. The way Fakhar dominated the bowlers was impressive. I think if my partnership with Babar lasted long, we would have been on the other side,” said Babar Azam in the post match presentation ceremony.

“Imad is a very clever bowler. He reads the batters’ mind well and bowls accordingly. He has improved a lot in batting too. We don’t have much concern with Shadab. He is one of the best of us. Our team is more or less settled ahead of the World Cup,” he added.
