A fire at an auto shop in Chicago’s Far South Side damaged 13 vehicles overnight, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Police said they responded to a call of a fire at an auto shop located at the 1200 block of East 95th Street in the Burnside neighborhood around 12:30 a.m. Monday. The Chicago Fire Department was already on scene extinguishing the fire.
A spokesperson for the fire department said it is the second time in the past several days that a fire has occurred at that location. The police arson unit was at the scene, but authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire, the spokesperson said.
No injuries were reported following the fire, police said. The Chicago Fire Department is investigating.
