Fire Breaks Out In Children’s Ward Of Rajasthan Hospital, 12 Infants Rescued

A fire broke out at Rajasthan’s Dungarpur Medical College on Saturday night. The incident occurred at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and 12 children that were stuck inside the premise got rescued. The Medical Superintendent of the college, Dr Mahendra Damor, while talking to the news agency ANI said that the fire was doused by three fire tenders. He said, “A fire broke out at the NICU ward of Dungarpur Medical College. Around twelve children were rescued. The fire was doused by 3 fire tenders.”

Fire Safety Officer Babulal Chaudhary while talking to ANI said that the incident took place in the newborn ward and the fire team was successful in evacuating the children on time. He said, “We got the information from the hospital about the fire incident in the newborn ward. I went with my team along with three vehicles. There was smoke, but we doused off the fire & safely evacuated the children.”

Further details into the matter are awaited.

Fire Broke Out At Furniture Factory In Udaipur

A fire broke out in a furniture factory in Rajasthan’s Udaipur on April 2. After receiving the information, several fire tenders reached the spot. An envelope of black smoke engulfed the area, reported the Times Now.

Senior officials also reached the spot following which the fire was brought under control. 

In another similar incident, a barn caught fire in Udaipur’s Falasia district, and the farmer who was trying to save the crop got burnt alive.

This incident took place in Dhartidevi village of the Falasia police station area of ​​the district. Station Officer Prabhulal Meena told that at around 9 o’clock in the night, information was received on the phone from Dhartidevi village of the area that the farmer got burnt in the fire in the wheat crop.

After controlling the fire, some of the burnt crops were separating the remaining crop. During this time there was no thought about the father in anyone’s mind. The family members were removing the burnt bundles of the crop when the feet of the first dead body were found under the crop. When the entire crop was removed, the dead body of the father appeared.
