The leader of the opposition in Maharashtra and Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar said on Saturday that it was prime minister Narendra Modi’s magic that brought the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to power in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and again in 2019. In response to the “educated prime minister” row, Pawar stated that education in politics is not given much weight.
Under PM Modi’s name, the party came to power in 2014 and reached sever remote places. After winning, a lot of statements were made against him but he got popular and under his leadership, BJP won in various states and repeated the same in 2019.
