India Responds To Dhaka Court’s Verdict On Sheikh Hasina’s Death Sentence

India has taken note of the verdict issued by Bangladesh’s International Crimes Tribunal against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In a brief response, New Delhi said it remains committed to the “best interests of the people of Bangladesh,” emphasising peace, democracy, inclusion and stability as priorities. India added that it will continue to engage constructively with all stakeholders in Bangladesh.
