Jayden Dawson and Sheldon Edwards each score 20 as Loyola beats La Salle 79-68

PHILADELPHIA — Jayden Dawson and Sheldon Edwards each had 20 points in Loyola’s 79-68 win against La Salle on Wednesday.

Dawson also had six rebounds for the Ramblers (10-5, 1-1 Atlantic 10 Conference). Edwards was 6 of 9 from the floor, including 4 for 7 from 3-point range, and 4 for 4 from the line. Jalen Quinn had 13 points and shot 4 of 10 from the field and 4 for 6 from the line.

Corey McKeithan led the Explorers (8-7, 0-3) in scoring, finishing with 24 points. Jahlil White added 15 points and two steals. Eric Acker also had 14 points and four assists.

Dawson led the Ramblers with 10 points in the first half to help put them ahead 40-32 at the break. Edwards scored a team-high 13 points after the break.

Seton Hall 85, DePaul 80 (OT)

NEWARK, N.J. — Isaiah Coleman scored 24 points, including a tying 3-pointer with 4.5 seconds in regulation, and Dylan Addae-Wusu scored eight of his 24 in overtime as Seton Hall took down DePaul 85-80 on Wednesday.

Coleman also contributed six rebounds and five assists for the Pirates (6-9, 1-3 Big East Conference). Addae-Wusu went 7 of 12 from the floor, including 5 for 9 from 3-point range, and 5 for 9 from the line and added seven assists and three steals. Prince Aligbe finished 7 of 13 from the floor to finish with 16 points, while adding six rebounds and three steals. The Pirates ended a five-game slide with the win.

The Blue Demons (9-7, 0-5) were led by CJ Gunn, who posted 21 points. They also got 18 points, six rebounds and four assists from Troy D’Amico. Jacob Meyer finished with 12 points.

Addae-Wusu scored nine points in the first half and the Pirates went into the break trailing 41-26.

Both teams play on Saturday. Seton Hall visits Providence and DePaul hosts Xavier.
