It’s only once every four years that the maternity nurses at hospitals get to deliver babies on Feb. 29. Some hospitals, like Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, are celebrating the rarity by releasing photos of the Leap Day babies.
These newborns now have material for jokes about how they seem to be 20 years old, but in fact they’re only five, and so on until they reach 100 and claim to be 25.
