The single-car crash that killed Leslie Jordan occurred as the actor was driving to the “Call Me Kat” set, according to a report.

The Fox sitcom’s staff became worried Monday when Jordan wasn’t there more than an hour after he was scheduled to start filming, TMZ reported Wednesday.

Jordan died at 67 after reportedly suffering a medical emergency and crashing his car into the side of a building in Los Angeles.

The fan-favorite actor starred as Phil on “Call Me Kat,” which paused production following his death, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“They broke the mold when they made Leslie Jordan,” the show’s star, Mayim Bialik, wrote in an Instagram tribute. “He was a dear mentor and a beloved friend. I will miss him so much — it’s unimaginable that he’s gone. Rest well, sweet buddy.”

The 4-foot-11 Jordan appeared in more than 100 film and TV roles during a career that spanned nearly four decades, including a recurring gig as the socialite Beverley Leslie on “Will & Grace.”

He was also a popular figure on social media with more than 5 million followers on an Instagram account where he frequently shared upbeat videos.

“Leslie Jordan was, hands down, one of the greats,” Megan Mullally, whose “Will & Grace” character, Karen, was a friendly rival of Jordan’s, wrote in an Instagram post.

“People use that expression a lot, and I’m not sure it’s always applicable. There aren’t that many people who are truly great at anything. But Leslie was flawlessly funny, a virtuoso of comedy. His timing, his delivery, all apparently effortless. You can’t get any better than that.”
