Mahindra is readying its next big product and it is one of the first in its line of born electric EVs which is the BE subrand. The BE 05 is a sporty coupe style SUV which will retain its concept like styling which means it will look unlike anything else out there. Hence, expect the sharp concept like proportions and the large aero efficient wheels plus the edgy styling. The BE 05 will come in by the start of next year while we will see more details by the end of this year with a possible unveiling. The BE 05 would be a 4m plus SUV with a sloping roofline plus details like flush door handles and more. It will retain most of the concept like design under Pratap Bose.
As revealed earlier these are the new range of electric EVs where their sounds are made by AR Rahman where he has designed sounds including for the drive sounds and experience modes. There will also be Dolby Atmos Audio on offer. Inside, the design would be futuristic and will get two screens with minimal physical buttons. There would be a different BE steering wheel on offer and there would be ample space for five passengers. The BE 05 will have the INGLO electric powertrains too.
The battery pack would be a 79kwh one with range being around 500km to match the Curvv plus the upcoming eVX and the Creta EV. It will have steering mounted paddles for regen braking plus a single rear wheel driven motor. We expect a launch by January at possibly the Bharat Mobility Global Expo with a price range of around 20-25 lakh which would be around the same ballpark as its rivals. It is clear that the BE 05 would have its striking looks as one of its highlights.
