A South Shore man was fatally wounded Wednesday night in a shooting in the Washington Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 7:15 p.m., the victim was in the 5700 block of South Michigan Avenue when he suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to UChicago Medicine where he was pronounced dead.
He was identified as Terrance Taylor, 25, of South Shore according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
