A 25-year-old man was listed in critical condition after being wounded Tuesday afternoon in a shooting on the South Side in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 1:35 p.m., the victim was in a parking lot in the 4300 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when he was approached by two people who pulled out handguns and opened fire, striking him to the head.
He was taken to UChicago Medicine where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
