A man was fatally stabbed stabbed overnight on the South Side in the Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 4:45 a.m., a man was walking with two other people in the 6300 block of South Stewart Avenue when a vehicle approached and three males exited. One of them stabbed the victim several times before fleeing the scene, police said.
The victim was taken to UChicago Medicine where he was pronounced dead.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
