Chicago police responded to a residence overnight in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood and found a 50-year-old man inside shot dead.
Shortly before midnight, police discovered a man shot multiple times inside a residence in the 7400 block of South Bennett Avenue, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, and a weapon was recovered.
Detectives were investigating as no one was in custody.
